This year Cornwall Metal Society and Nazgul Promotions join forces to bring to the local scene of Devon and Cornwall an opportunity of a life time! Devon & Cornwall will be joining forces to represent the South West with the finest metal.
The 2012 Metal 2 the Masses/Battle for Bloodstock is now under way so if you want the opportunity to battle it out and win the chance to play at BLOODSTOCK 2012 ...alongside WATAIN, ANVIL, PARADISE LOST, ORANGE GOBLIN etc.. then enter your band now. Further judging on the day may also send you to play at WACKEN Festival 2013 and METAL CAMP festival 2013 and many more prizes!
You must be based in the county of either Devon or Cornwall and fit somehow within the metal genre.
NO COVERS to be sent or played during the competition.
THIS COMP IS FOR UNSIGNED BANDS ONLY.
There are limited slots so get your requests in a.s.a.p by sending 3 tracks and band details to: nazgul-records@hotmail.co.uk closing date for entries is 31st Jan 2012.
There will be 7 heats with 3 bands in each,2 semi finals (and a wild card) with 4 bands in each, then a final between 4 bands.
THERE WILL BE NO BAND ENTRY FEE!
Bands will be judged on the following criteria and in the percentage ratio suggested by Bloodstock.
PERFORMANCE SKILLS:
Musical Ability – 15%
Vocal Ability – 15%
Originality – 10%
Crowd Stimulation – 15%
Professionalism – 10%
Other – 5%
Audience Vote Voting Slips accounting for – 30%
