Stuka Squadron is a London based Heavy Metal band, which has been cited as one of the leading acts in the “New Wave of Traditional Metal” by such magazines as Classic Rock and Metal Hammer. It was formed in 2008 following the release of the ‘We Drink Blood’ EP.
The band has achieved considerable popularity with radio stations and the press alike. The song ‘We Drink Blood’ is also an underground hit in Metal clubs in the UK and US alike.
Stuka Squadron is renowned for touring with an impressive stage show, including the wearing of aviator uniform, props such as swords and daggers, and the sacrifice of at least one band member at every show.
The band is currently touring their new album ‘Tales of the Ost’, which was independently released in June 2011. In November 2011 the band signed to Metalbox Recordings who re-release their debut album on 13th February 2012.
