Falling Red & The Goddamn Electric @ MCR Academy 3 Review (plus Audio Interview)

Falling Red and The Goddamn Electric played at Manchester Academy 3 on the 24th March 2012.

The opening support band for the night was a young college band called Waterstone, a bit serrated around the edges, with some good strong riffs and decent vocals embedded in their music.

Second on were The Goddamn Electric, whose style is comparison to Velvet Revolver and Buckcherry. The band seemingly very popular with the crowd, drew them in closer with their strong interaction and offerings of free T-shirts and 'Fountains' of Jagermeister. They put on a very entertaining and enjoyable show. Before the show, Aine Brewer from The Metal Saloon got the chance to do an exclusive interview with The Goddamn Electric. The full uncut version of the interview can be seen below.

Bullets and Octane had pulled out, which left Falling Red to be the Headline band of the evening. Everytime I see Falling Red, they always put on a good show, I find them very grasping to watch and listen to. Named as 'The bad boys of British Rock n' Roll' I find this gets accross well in their stage presence and performance. I also found the lighting for their set great and fun to work with.
